What is it about?

So today I launched this mini-game. 

Firstly it’s about testing the mechanic. A depleting hand of cards - I’ll be elaborating on this more with a future game (adding in a Blackjack mechanic) but for now it’s just a test or exceed with a controlled randomness. 

Secondly, it’s a game about women but it’s really for men. Sort of addressing the unconscious bias that women are the recipients of and men barely recognise. The problems that most men never even encounter.  The cards therefore represent her patience and her ability to cope with with whatever new bullshit the world is presenting. It’s about recognition of what happens when there’s no more to give. They’re more likely to remove themselves from the conflict than react violently. 

Lastly there’s an educational perspective that this is a snapshot of a woman’s “three days”. It might be four , it might be seven, as was said “there’s nothing normal about a period”. But men luxuriate in relative ignorance of what they are, how they affect the lives of others. I don’t want to get into the biological detail of it, but damn I’m enjoying how men think it’s “ick”.
